Abstract: The influences of Nb-doping on the temperature stability of PMS-PZ-PT ternary system ceramics were investigated. The stable temperature dependence of resonance frequency, electromechanical coupling coefficient K31 and piezoelectric constant d31 were measured. Results show that the donor dopants can not only optimize piezoelectric properties of the system, but also improve the temperature stability. So the modified PMS-PZ-PT ceramics can achieve the requirements for high-power piezoelectric devices such as ultrasonic motors.
