Magnetic Dielectric and Magnetoelectric Properties of Magnetoelectric Nano-composites xCoAl0.2Fe1.8O4+(1-x)BaTiO3

Abstract: Magnetoelectric nano-composites xCoAl0.2Fe1.8O4+(1-x)BaTiO3 were prepared by Sol-Gel method. The presence of perovskite BaTiO3 and spinel CoAl0.2Fe1.8O4 in the sintered composites was proved by XRD patterns. SEM images showed that particle size of composite was uniform. The magnetic property of composites was tested by magnetic hysteresis loops and dispersion of dielectric constant was explained with Koops two layer inhomogeneous dielectric structure model. The maximum value of magnetoelectric voltage coefficient viz. 1.075×10-2V/A was obtained for 0.20CoAl0.2Fe1.8O4+0.80BaTiO3 composite at the DC magnetic bias field of 1.35×105A/m.
