Abstract: The HAP dispersing bioglass-Ti6Al4V composite was made by the enameling method. Since the intermediate layer of bioactive glass has no effect on hydroxyapatite
particles, the particles in the coating remain their apatite structure. The sintering temperature greatly effects the microstructure of as obtained intermediate
layer. The bonding strength between bioglass layer and underlined substrates is not less than 29.73 MPa, much higher than that by plasma spraying. XPS results
show that after the coating being soaked in the simulated body fluid for a certain time, new hydroxyapatite particles will separate
out on the surface of the composite coating, showing the composite coating having a good bioactivity.
