Abstract: The detailed electroacoustic behaviors for alumina in salt concentration of magnesium ions were determined as a function of metal ion concentration, pH, and volume content of solid. The charge reversal and the shifts of the isoelectric points were observed. The particle size distributions corresponded well to the zeta potential values. Atomic Force Microscope was used to verify the metal hydroxide coating, formed at the interface. The thickness of the coating layer was about 4nm, corresponding to 10~12 monolayers.
