A Novel Microstructure and Its Effects on Mechanical Properties of TiC/TiB2/MoSi_2 Composites

摘要: 本文研究了原位生成的TiC/TiB/MoSi三相复合材料的一种新的显微结构及其对力学性能的影响,结果表明,当热压金属Ti,BC和MoSi的混合粉末时,在MoSi的基体内生成由TiC和TiB组成的空心粒子.其中的TiC和TiB粒子均为纳米粒子.具有此新显微结构的复合材料,强度达到480MPa,断裂韧性为5.2MPa·m1/2,较单相MoSi材料的力学性能有大幅度提高.

Abstract: A novel microstructure of TiC /TiB2 / MoSi2 composite and its effect on mechanicalproperties were studied. The results indicate that hollow particles, consisting of TiC and TiB2 nanosized grains, can be formed in MoSi2 matrix when the mixed powder of elemental Ti, B4C and MoSi2 was reactively hot pressed. The bending strength of these composites with the newmicrostructure reaches at 480 MPa, and the highest fracture toughness is 5.2 Mpa·ml/2.
